#28 - The Grass is Always Greener Part 1

Frozen to the spot, Gerald looked on in horror as she trotted into the driveway; he was sure that she would seize on this chance to escape him forever. Then the errant bovine approached the gate on the other side and, more confidently, unhooked it before entering the field.

A standalone short story about farming, cows, and science gone mad. When local farmer Gerald notices one of his cows acting in an unusual way, he at first thinks nothing of it. But as the animal exhibits more signs of intelligent thinking, an odd rivalry springs up between the farmer and his cow...

This was the first thing I ever wrote, and I'm pleasantly surprised to find it's not bad. Part two next week!

I would love to collaborate with you! If you have short fiction that you would like me to include as a standalone episode of Pocket Fiction, drop me a line!

Each track is also available as a video on YouTube and as a podcast through the iTunes store.
