#24 - Numbers Station & The Wall

Max turned the dial on his old shortwave radio. The space between stations hummed and crackled, static spiking, and then her voice came through, carefully enunciating.

“4. 6. 2. 8. 4. 9. The end. The end. Please stand by.”

A double-bill today, with a short standalone story based on the wonderful modern-day mystery of Numbers Stations, written by me, and a wonderfully atmospheric piece by Eleanor Rutter, better known on Tumblr as Ladara, about an old man surveying the world.

I would love to collaborate with you! If you have short fiction that you would like me to include as a standalone episode of Pocket Fiction, drop me a line!

Each track is also available as a video on YouTube and as a podcast through the iTunes store.

Thanks for listening! Ideas? Suggestions? Things you would like me to read? Please comment and subscribe!
